Param is Turkey's first electronic money institution, established in 2014 and licensed by the BRSA within a year. It also offers a wide range of services such as electronic money, prepaid cards, physical and virtual POS and e-wallets to individual and corporate customers.
A pioneer in its sector, Param is the only electronic money institution holding all card issuing licenses for Troy, MasterCard, Visa and Discover card schemes and the first and only non-bank member of BKM TechPOS platform.
Approved by the Central Bank, Param has been breaking new ground since the day it entered the sector with 6.5 million prepaid cards.
Winner of the "First TROY Global Card Issuing Electronic Money Institution" award at the Discover Global Network 2019 Awards, Param conducts transactions with more than 110 co-branded cards, including BaroKart for lawyers and AdaletKart for Ministry of Justice personnel, as well as shopping malls
Offering a virtual POS solution for every moment of card payment, ParamPOS mediates the collections of over 50 thousand corporate and individual customers, primarily e-commerce companies, marketplaces, companies with dealer networks and people who sell through channels such as social media.
In 2021, Param acquired the fifty percent of Momento Reklam ve Pazarlama Ticaret AŞ, Turkey's leading rewarding system, and in 2022, Param acquired all shares of Eçözüm Bilgi Teknolojileri AŞ, which provides services in the fintech sector with its Open Banking and Online Collection products.
Param, which received investment from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), CEECAT Capital, Alpha Associates and Revo Capital in the first round with a valuation of over USD 200 million, continues its presence in the financial technology sector with confident steps with over 600 employees.
In order to transfer its knowledge and know-how to Europe, Param has established operations in the United Kingdom under the name Param UK and continues to create new employment opportunities by offering the opportunity to work in the UK.
